Elder Sim — Privacy Policy
Last updated 12 October 2026 · applies to the Elder Sim web game, its Android/iOS builds the playtest service at nasha920.cc/eldersim and the website at eldersim.com.
Elder Sim is a single-player game. We do not ask for your name, email, location, contacts or photos, and we do not sell or share personal data. This page explains the little information the game does handle.
What stays on your device
Your realms, settings, tester badges, unlocked packs and your age band are stored only in your browser or app storage on your device. We cannot see them. You can export them or erase them at any time from Realm ▸ Settings ▸ Privacy & data.
What may be sent to our playtest server

The random id is not linked to your name or account. Our server is hosted on Cloudflare; like any website, Cloudflare processes your IP address to deliver the page and protect it from abuse, under Cloudflare’s privacy policy. We do not store IP addresses with your gameplay statistics.
Children
When the game starts we ask for a birth year. Players under 13 play in kid-safe mode: no statistics or reports leave the device, there are no ads, no purchases and no free-text forms. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us a report, use “Delete all my data” on that device, or contact us (below) and we will delete it.
Ads and purchases
The current Alpha shows no ads and takes no payments. If a future mobile build offers optional rewarded ads (16+ only) or in-app purchases, they are handled by Google Play / Apple and their ad partners under their own privacy policies, and we will update this page before that build is released.
Your choices and rights
- Turn statistics off in Settings at any time.
- Export everything the game stores with “Export my data”.
- Delete everything with “Delete all my data”. This erases the device copy and asks our server to delete all statistics and reports linked to your random id.
- Depending on where you live (e.g. GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct or erase data and to complain to a regulator. Because we only hold an anonymous id, the in-game buttons are the quickest way to exercise them.

We may update this policy as the game changes; the date above shows the latest version. Significant changes will be announced in the game.
